I had put these pictures aside because I couldn't figure out what bird it was. Well, a man gains wisdom when he begins to acknowledge his ignorance.So: warbler ,Central Park, October 2010. Broken white eye-ring, streaky breast with little yellow patches. brown/buff crown, wing bars. I have more photos similar to these two, but none have the top base of the tail. Yellow-rumped (Myrtle) warbler?update: Yellow-rumped/Myrtle it is. Thanks for the help!
