This is Gus, the famous obsessive-compulsive swimming polar bear of the Central Park Zoo. Gus spends all day, every day, swimming back and forth in his enclosure. Some years ago, the Zoo hired a psychologist to try and treat him. He still swims back and forth all day long but he does seem less tense somehow. This and the next two are a sequence of Gus in mid-backstroke.
