I overlooked this photo for a long time. This was taken in the parking area behind a stable for Central park carriage horses, in the Wes 30s near the Javits Convention Center. The spot overlooked some of the old train lines, and was somewhat overgrown. We saw this bird, which I think is a song sparrow, and a slate-colored Junco.
