A Northern Saw-whet Owl in Central Park near The Point right at the start of Spring. He had caught some kind of small animal that was a little too large to eat comfortably (this kind of owl is only about 6 inches long, so even a small rat is a bit much)and was doing his best to tear it into bite-size chunks.I posted a couple of pictures of this bird immediately after taking them, but I just found the folder with the rest of them, so there will be a few more of this one.
