I spotted this Blackpoll warbler this Spring on one of my first outings with the 500 reflex lens. He was in the Ramble, in and about the little stream just north of Azalea Pond.It was quite a day--got a Scarlet Tanager and a Northern Waterthrush as well.I'm finally getting around to doing something with these pictures. (Except one shot of the Tanager I posted at the time.) The light was quite poor and the photos are not easy to work with, especially since I was shooting jpg only (on account of the low frame rate of the A300).I think I've learned something about post-processing since then. This still isn't as sharp as I'd like, but the light is so nice...
